The Bridgman area includes – Baroda, Bridgman and Sawyer. We are located in Southwestern Michigan – Berrien County.
The population of Baroda is 657; Bridgman is 2,235; and Sawyer is 782.
Berrien County has a population of 161,378 and has many personalities. From farming to industry, shopping to tourism – we offer something for everyone.
The industry of our county is also noteworthy. There are more than 450 manufacturers – with a population of less than 162,000; that’s quite impressive!
We are fortunate to live so close to the beautiful waterways and shorelines of Lake Michigan. Fishing and water sports abound! Our sunsets are unbelievable.
The Bridgman Area is conveniently located just off Interstate 94, on exits 16 through 23. The highway traffic at this exit is estimated at OVER 28,000 PER DAY (according to the Michigan Dept. of Transportation). We are situated between many metropolitan areas: South Bend, Indiana is 25 miles away. Kalamazoo, Michigan is 47 miles away. Grand Rapids, Michigan is 80 miles away. Chicago, Illinois is 65 miles away and Detroit, Michigan is 195 miles away. In addition to the Interstate, there are commercial airports in Benton Harbor, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, and South Bend. Rail service is also available. Amtrak has passenger services in St. Joseph (13 miles), New Buffalo (12 miles), and Niles (25 miles).
