• The Bridgman Public School District is a vital part of the Bridgman and Lake Township communities where we together challenge our children to succeed and provide opportunities for lifelong learning. Bridgman Schools offers a high quality education to over 983 students in grades PK-12. We are proud to be the number one “Schools of Choice” district in Berrien County with over 300 students from 11 different districts. Schools of Choice forms can be downloaded from our website, www.bridgmanschools.com or by calling the Administration Office at (269) 466-0271.

Our students consistently score among the top schools in Berrien County on statewide assessments. The Bridgman Public School District supports a challenging curriculum that is fully aligned with state and national standards. All three (3) schools have received an “A” on the State School Report Card and the district has achieved Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) status under the No Child Left Behind Act. Bridgman High School boasts a 95% graduation rate with a 0% drop out rate. Our communities enthusiastically support our students and activities, and recently passed two bond proposals totaling over $23 million dollars for building renovations, technology upgrades, and athletic facility improvements. These improvements ensure that all students receive the best all-around educational experience possible. Our belief at Bridgman Public Schools is to educate the whole child. Coupled with robust academic programs is a successful and highly competitive athletic program, which offers 21 various sports at the Middle School and High School levels. BPS also has a strong fine arts program which includes visual arts, performing arts and industrial arts. Bridgman Public Schools is fortunate to have its own aquatic center funded by the recent renewal of the recreational millage. The Bridgman Aquatic Center contains an Olympic-size pool that is open to the public for swim classes and other recreational aquatic opportunities throughout the year.
